This is a wonderful 1980 Marshall MK2 Master Model 100w Lead JMP head, bought from the owner of many years at a studio in Manchester. It has been very well looked after, in good condition cosmetically as you can see. The mains transformer and the choke are original to the amplifier. The output transformer is a replacement from the 1980s / early 1990s. It’s the exact transformer that it should be, just a later model, so the sound is as it should be.
There is a matched quad of brand new JJ EL34 for the power section, and a trio of period ECC83s in the preamp section. It’s still one heck of an amplifier.
