I’m THRILLED to announce the sale of a 60+ year collection coming through The Music Locker. This collection spans all decades from the 60s to the present day. They have been collected by a true lover of vintage. This particular guitar was bought direct from Julian Cope from The Teardrop Explodes. It even comes with the Julian Cope original flight case for the bass guitar, as pictured. It’s a rather rare 1992 Gibson Les Paul Bass, in the stupidly cool Honeyburst colour. Julian added some gaffer tape to the back of the body to keep it from scratching, which we’ve left on there.
Please bear in mind the following – each guitar in the collection has been stored in a loft for decades. Therefore will require a clean and re-string. I can give the buyer two options. Firstly I can send as it is pictured to you, and you get it cleaned and restrung yourselves. Or I can do it this side when it has sold but this will add a week on to the dispatch time.
