I am really pleased to offer this super cool original ‘Bill Wyman’ Vox Teardrop bass guitar. It’s definitely a players grade guitar, but an amazing one at that. This is the rare original version of the Wyman bass, made in the 1960s, in really good cosmetic condition and playability. It’s had a replacement neck in the past, for a slightly later 1970s version of the teardrop bass. This neck is slightly thinner than the original, so the pickup poles don’t line up perfectly with the strings. It’s not an issue at all mind you – still sounds and plays awesome.
With the thinner neck, means that there’s been a shim placed to the side in the socket. The pickup cover is also non-original and a later replacement (would have originally had Wyman Bass on it). It’s an honest, players grade example of this super rare bass guitar, priced to sell (usually have an asking price of double this!) You’ll not be disappointed.
