This is a truly incredible opportunity to own a piece of rock n’ roll history. This comes directly from ABM himself, guitarist to many incredible bands of this age. He’s owned it for many years and it’s featured on many of his projects over the decades. The amplifier itself is a 1960s MKII Treble N Bass 50w, placed inside a slightly later MKIII cabinet, with the front cloth replaced for some original MKII cloth, and a later back panel. It’s been put together well, and does the job very well indeed. In the words of Andrew, “what it lacks in originality, it makes up for in character”. The sound is to die for, and is one of the nicest Selmers I’ve heard!
Internally it has two of the original transformers (output and choke) and one replacement (mains) using the original end bell covers. It has the original Mullard rectifier valve, a pair of newer replacement Electro Harmonix EL34, and 3x replacement ECC83s. For sure a players grade amplifier.
