This is one of the rarest guitars you will ever see – an original jetglo 1958 Rickenbacker 425, complete with the original hard case. Despite not having a trem, this is not a 420 but a 425 (just like George Harrison’s). Rickenbacker actually changed the numbering convention not long after this was produced. This is an early version with the slab body and metal headplate and is stupidly rare. This was imported from the USA a decade or so ago, and has been sat in a collection since then.
It is truly gorgeous – you’ll not find one like it again. Cosmetically in good used condition with some incredible natural wear. The bridge is a replacement, otherwise completely original including the case. Someone previous has marker penned the headstock cover too, but this could be removed if necessary.
