I was recently contacted by the daughters of the long-term owner on this guitar in Liverpool. Their father had had it since they could remember and he’d recently passed meaning it was time to find it a new home. This one is a really early example of a Cromwell G4 made by Gibson in the 1930s. It’s an incredible little guitar with a solid spruce top, solid mahogany back, sides, and neck. Built to a really high standard in the 1930s!
It’s a true beauty and in wonderful condition. The previous owner had looked after it very well, and it only has a few light marks to it as you can see. Also comes with a hard case that fits perfectly. It’s a real piece of guitar history and a lovely guitar at that!
