We’re thrilled to offer this classic 16-inch Gibson archtop, a rare find that we wish we had more of.
This guitar dates back to 1932 and came to us from a widow who had been seriously lowballed by a well-known instrument dealer. We offered higher what was initially proposed, ensuring it went to a good home.
Upon arrival, the guitar had a previous attempt at a natural refinish that didn’t do it justice and was in need of a refret. Fortunately, the structure was perfect — no cracks or breaks.our luthier performed a complete refinish, giving the guitar a flawless ebony finish and expertly refretting it. The result is a stunning player that looks and sounds as it should.
