This is a real beauty of a guitar – a late 1963 Hofner President E2 Thinline with the 2x staple pickups. These thin guitars are some of my favourite Hofner guitars. It has been well looked after, with very little to report. The neck has needed a reset lately due to the classic Hofner glue coming unstuck. The neck is now extremely sturdy. The staple pickups sound awesome and the four knobs are original too. These guitars are truly special and some of my favourite Hofner guitars to play.
