Shake ‘Em On Down! I just love Bukka White. A few years ago I watched Bukka’s very own 1933 National Duolian sell at auction for crazy money. And then a few weeks ago I was offered this beauty from the original owner who’d brought it back from the USA on a trip some decades ago. It was his pride and joy. It’s a late 1934/1935 National Duolian (still separate peg headstock). The previous owner changed the machine heads and had a pickup fitted at some point (which is now gone). It is completely uncirculated and in wonderful used condition, a tone to die for, and a playability like no other!
The serial number starts with a ‘C’ too, which is period correct. This guitar is truly perfect to play Aberdeen Mississippi Blues on. I GENUINELY don’t think you’ll find a better one in the UK for many years to come! Please see the pictures as they form part of my description.
