In all my years of doing this beautiful job, I’ve never seen another of these! I saw this hid away in a background picture of an auction house clearance, and knew it was something special. It had been sent to the auction after a house had been cleared, and put in a huge lot of other guitars – mixed in and hidden. When I won the lot, my heart skipped when I finally saw this stunning guitar. It’s an original (not a reissue) 1960s Teisco Spectrum 3 in the rarer Metallic Blue finish. I have had this one cleaned and set up ready to go and, as you can see, it’s absolutely stunning. There are a few light marks to the body, but this is just general age wear – nothing significant. As you can see, the original whammy bar is missing otherwise all there. The electrics all work great and the guitar sounds amazing. It’s a beauty!
