This wonderful matched set up has been recently serviced and checked over by a leading British amp tech. I bought it from the original owner who’d had it from new, and still had the original manual to go with it! It has the original GEC & Mullard Valves, 73K serial numbers and twin coloured sockets indicating ‘Stereo’, around 1966. If you’re looking for a complete set up ready to go, this is the one!

As you can see above, the Quad II and 22 are a matched setup, bought by myself from the original owner from new!
These are extremely original. The KT66 valves in both amplifiers are a matching pair of original GECs, followed by a pair of original Mullard GZ32s, and the 2x original Mullard EF86s in both. The circuit board looks untouched! The transformer in one has got quite hot in the past, but I can confirm it works fine and sounds great – purely cosmetic! It really is a special set. Condition is good, with quite a few scuffs and scrapes throughout, as pictured. The perfect amplifiers for those classic vinyls in your collection!
