I am excited to offer the following from the incredible Ronnie Lane Mobile Studio collection. The LMS has a history spanning from 1972 and is the most successful mobile studio in the world. After Abbey Road it is the most successful studio of any kind, still in existence anywhere outside of the US. The studio has recorded the most successful artists of all time, at the most significant stages of their careers. It is responsible for more than 750 million records sold. Now is the time to let some of the collection back into the wild, and I have the privilege of doing just that!
This is a truly rare pair JBL 4320 studio speakers. They were used in the LMS, amongst other similar studio’s of the era, and up until recently, the current owner and producer – Mark St John – kept these in working order and used inside the studio. However, he fell suddenly ill pre-covid and therefore these items have been stood for a while in his warehouse and the cone surrounds have perished as you can see. A re-cone kit should sort it out! These are sold as seen in need of restoration, but what a truly incredible pair of speakers they are!
