This is the coolest mojo filled Tweed Champ you’ll ever find! I found this stunner sat in the corner of a store in Florida last year, and just couldn’t refuse bringing it back with me. It’s an original 1955 ‘Wide Panel’ Tweed Champ, model 5D1.
When I got it, it had a dead speaker and had been sat for many years in the store, unused. My first job was to get it serviced, with many of the components ‘too far gone’ so my tech has replaced what is necessary and replaced with high quality components too. The original 6L-1A speaker was completely dead, so I replaced it with the Jensen now inside. The original speaker comes with the amplifier, and is my final picture above. It now works a true treat and sounds amazing.
