This is a super rare Sola Sound 100w valve amplifier, made as a ‘side hustle’ by Dave Roffey in the 1970s. I’ve seen only a handful of these, and this is one of the nicest, and cleanest examples I’ve seen. Inside is a pair of original transformers working well. The power valves consist of a pair of original (and very rare!) Teonex EL34 and a pair of newer TAD EL34. The pre-amp valves are original and period correct. It’s just been serviced by a leading UK amp tech, and works well. Cosmetically in great condition. The front panel has been recovered with 1970s Marshall style tolex to cover what would have been silver mesh, but this has been done incredibly well and looks awesome. Grab a bargain!
